Build a ride-hailing app on a blockchain in 121 lines of TypeScript
· 14 min read
By the end of this post you will have run a complete ride on the Clutch public testnet from one TypeScript file. A passenger requests a ride, a driver offers, the passenger accepts and pays in two installments, and the driver's balance moves about a second after each payment. No backend, no database, no payment provider. Two keypairs your script generates, a public GraphQL Hub, and a chain whose transaction types are the steps of a ride. Once the wallets were funded, the whole ride below took 12 seconds.
